Bio

I am a professional photographer and artist based in Columbia, South Carolina but  have traveled

throughout the U.S. and abroad, winning recognition for my work in state, regional and national contests.

I was named the 2005 and 2006 and 2009 South Carolina Photographer of the Year by the South Carolina News

Photographers Association. My work has been recognized in NPPA’s Best of Photojournalism, South Carolina Press Association,

Idaho Press Association, Inland Press Association, Sportsshooter.com annual sports photography contest, Southern Newspaper

Publishers Association and the Southern Short Course in News Photography. I was one of the photographers featured in the best

selling book “America 24/7.” My images have been published in regional and national publications and were recently part of a

traveling exhibit in El Salvador and Washington, D.C. I am married to a wonderful wife, Liz and have two children, Ava and William

who continue to grow up at an alarming rate. Aside from my documentary work, I am available for corporate, advertising,

editorial assignments, weddings and events.
